Brazilian cities are stepping up for climate action.
This open platform presents validated, data-driven profiles and action strategies for engaged cities, as well as transparent, publicly available datasets for all 5,500+ Brazilian municipalities. It allows users to explore city-level emissions, climate risks, and priority actions across the country.
As part of the Coalition for High Ambition for Multilevel Partnerships (CHAMP), a global initiative to better align local and national climate efforts, 50 cities are advancing mitigation and adaptation strategies through concrete actions. These actions are aligned with Brazil's nationally determined contributions (NDC) and the National Adaptation Plan (NAP).
